Unable to Save Documents in Google Drive on macOS Catalina
Before You Begin
This fix only applies to macOS Catalina or later. If you are running a previous version of macOS, you are likely to have a different issue.
Resolving the Issue
- Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy
- Select "Privacy" on the Menu bar, then scroll down to "Full Disk Access," then click the "+" icon

Select "Applications on the sidebar, then scroll down to select "Google Drive File Stream," then select "Open"
Restart your computer
Following the restart, you should be able to use Google Drive File Stream again.
