Turning Everything On

1. Select the “TV” button, point the remote at the TV, then press the red power button on the upper right-hand side of the remote.

2. Open the cabinet and turn on the receiver under the cabinet manually, it is the bottom-most box in the cabinet and there is only one button on the far-left side of it, simply press it. The screen will illuminate signifying that the receiver has been turned on.

3. If you need to use the Apple TV, select “Apple” then press the “Menu” button with the remote pointed at the open cabinet on the left-hand side of the remote, directly under the “TV” button.

4. If you need to use the DVD player, select “DVD,” point the remote at the DVD player, and press power, the screen on the DVD player will illuminate signifying that it has been turned on.

Controlling the Volume

1. Follow the steps for turning everything on.

2. Point the remote at the receiver in the cabinet and use the volume controls to adjust the volume.

Using the Apple TV

1. Follow the steps for turning everything on

2. Switch the input on the TV to Apple TV by selecting “TV” on the remote, then, while pointing the remote at the TV, press the “Input” button on the lower left-hand side of the remote. It is directly below the number seven (7) on the remote. Use the arrows surrounding the “OK” button to select input.

3. To ensure that the volume is able to be controlled, press the “TV/AUX” button on the front of the receiver.

4. Select “Apple” on the remote, then press the “Menu” button on the left-hand side. The Apple TV’s status indicator light will illuminate signifying that it is working.

5. Press and hold the menu button while the remote is pointed at the Apple TV to return to the home screen, then use the arrow keys and the “OK” button to select the application that you would like to use.

Using the DVD Player

1. Follow the steps for turning everything on

2. Switch the input on the TV to Component by selecting “TV” on the remote, then, while pointing the remote at the TV, press the “Input” button on the lower left-hand side of the remote. It is directly below the number seven (7) on the remote. Use the arrows surrounding the “OK” button to select input.

3. To ensure that the volume is able to be controlled, press the “CD” button on the front of the receiver.

4. Select “DVD” on the remote, then use the controls to control it as you would any other DVD player.

Turning Everything Off

1. Select the “TV” button, point the remote at the TV, then press the red power button on the upper right-hand side of the remote.

2. Open the cabinet and turn off the receiver under the cabinet manually, it is the bottom-most box in the cabinet and there is only one button on the far-left side of it, simply press it. The screen will turn off, signifying that the receiver has been powered down.

3. If you used the Apple TV, select “Apple” then press and hold the “Menu” button with the remote pointed at the open cabinet on the left-hand side of the remote, directly under the “TV” button, then leave it be.

4. If used the DVD player, select “DVD,” point the remote at the DVD player, and press power, the screen on the DVD player will turn signifying that it has been powered down.
